Chargebacks and refund – Help!
-
Hi!
Recently, I bought a Domain Mapping feature to my blog. Instead, it was added a Premium Plan feature, which I cancelled and asked for refund. There are 2 different refund receipts on my Billing History, and WordPress is asking me to pay a chargeback fine to allow me to access my blog again. I’m very confused because the receipts don’t match with the amount I payed, and I don’t know why exactly the chargeback fines are being charged since I asked for refund through WordPress. It would be really helpful if any staff member could tell me what it all means, and if I’ll be refunded. Thank you!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi bruvalandro,
I’ve added the modlook tag to get the staff’s attention. Please be patient and a staff member will assist you. Thank you!

Hi @bruvalandro, the chargeback fee is only there because of a disputed payment. When you claim our charge is fraudulent, we can’t refund anything (because the funds leave our account while your bank investigates) and we are charged a fine on top of that, which is why we put the chargeback fee on your account.
If you’ll close the dispute with your bank we can remove the fee and sort out the refund from there. Just know it takes a few days. Thanks :)

Hi, supernovia!
Thank you so much for your information! I couldn’t understand because it is said there that the chargeback fine is about 2 items. I’ll get in touch with my bank and close the dispute. Thanks!
