Charged 3 times – how to get refund?

    I need to contact somebody in support, so I can discuss why I have been charged 3 times – twice today for the exact same amount! I don’t want to put all the details here, but SPEAK to someone at WordPress.

    Can anybody help?

    I’ve tagged this for staff attention. I’m sure they will organise a refund, but they are busy and it may take them some time to getting round to looking at this thread. Please be patient, they will get round to you.

  • I only see one $26 charge on your account for March 19.

    If you have received more for the same amount on the same day, I recommend contacting your credit card provider.

    I have another WordPress account too – http://www.unilodge.co.uk (which I opened for a friend and I processed the opening of a/c etc).

    For both loveabubbles and unilodge, I was expecting just the one charge – but need an explanation for the following charges – all listed as being WP-FEE.COM

    Here’s what I’ve been charged:

    21st March $13.00
    21st March $26.00 (yes, two charges on the one day)

    29th April $26.00

    13th May $13.00
    13th May $13.00 (two identical charges for the same day)

    Please can someone explain what these charges are for?

    Will my credit card provider not just tell me to contact the company who issue the charges- ie WordPress?

    Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

  • That account only has one $13 charge March 20 for the unilodge.co.uk domain mapping.

    Depending on the credit card’s processing time, I’d say the March 21 $13 is actually this March 20 domain mapping for unilodge.co.uk, and the the March 21 $26 is the March 19 domain registration for loveabubbles.com.

    Did you have any other accounts with us?

    Hello again

    No, I don’t have any other accounts with WordPress which is why I am a little confused.

    Please could somebody in the accounts section of WordPress take a closer look Given that my account debited is the same in all cases, perhaps they have a reference for each deduction which can clarify things?

  • Sure, it’s under Store -> My Upgrades in your blog’s Dashboard.

    If you can’t find anything useful there, please let me know the billing name on the card that was charged.
