Charged for a domain name

    Hi,
    I have been charged for a domain name and wish to cancel it and be refunded. Please advise

    I see you also filed a chargeback against us with PayPal for this renewal payment before you contacted us to ask for a refund.

    Chargebacks and Disputes

    As you can see from that page, it can take weeks before a payment provider decides on a chargeback, and until they do the funds are frozen, preventing us from refunding you ourselves.

    Lucky for you, in this case it appears they have already rejected your claim and closed the chargeback in our favour, which means it’s now possible for me to refund you.

    Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future.

    Please confirm if you’re sure you no longer want this domain. Once you confirm we can cancel it and refund your renewal payment.
