Charged for domain mapping even after transfering blow

    Hi…

    I’d bought a domain and the domain mapping through WordPress but I transferred my domain to another registrar. Yet, wordpress is charging me for domain mapping for the next year – and a month ahead of when it was due for renewal anyway. Can someone explain this?

    WordPress does an automatic renewal a little ahead of time (if you had not disabled automatic renewal) to prevent the possibility of something happening and you losing your domain or domain mapping.

    Contact staff and they will get it straightened out for you and get you a refund. Go to http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ , search for anything, scroll down, click “no” and then the contact form will appear.
