Charged for WordPress, No Transactions

Hi, I have two WordPress accounts. I have multiple google wallets. One wallet has my paypal account attached to it. Neither WordPress account has a transaction in it or a payment method attached to it. I have two transactions that PayPal says were made through google wallet paid to WordPress. I have zero transactions in the Google Wallet for this payment method, going back to 2017. These transactions were made on 10/23/23 (yesterday) one while I was asleep, one while I was drinking my coffee. Can anyone tell me how one goes about resolving this with WordPress? Preventing this from happening in the future?
Neither transaction has merchant contact information.

So one PayPal update, the transaction references Google Wallet, but it was not a Google Wallet transactions.

Oh, this gets better, PayPal just denied the dispute. How the heck! I have no way to get anywhere on this!

Back to customer service where the customer service rep was basically as dumbfounded as I was, but after they spoke with a supervisor they were able to figure out the “google wallet” aspect which confusingly this is a debit card purchase but apparently done through google wallet. Which at least makes sense of the fact that the charge didn’t go through the account login method, which had me super paranoid. (Generated Password + 2FA turned on, thought I was safe, and apparently that’s fine and the account is secure.)
Yet, I’m still confused by the Google Wallet part, as apparently that’s either someone accessing my Google Wallet (but I should have a transaction for that somewhere in Google, shouldn’t I) or someone else has my card in their Google Wallet (which makes more sense, but at the same time doesn’t, because I thought I had to confirm the amounts on a test transaction when I added cards to my Google Wallet).
Reached out to WordPress on Facebook got a canned message to email billingsupport@wordpress.com. Emailed, and awaiting response.
Meanwhile PayPal has deactivated the card and is sending a replacement. -
