  Hello. My card was charged for $18, even though I have a free account. I’m not sure how my card information even got accessed since I did not enter it on this website so I am very upset. Please help me. Thanks

  There aren’t any charges connected to the user account that you’ve used here in the forums. We need to find out where that charge came from in order to investigate it.

  Did you receive an emailed receipt from us? Try signing in at WordPress.com with that email address. Then go to wordpress.com/me/purchases/ to cancel the upgrade.

  Or, you can come back and post here from the correct account and I can do it for you.
