charged usd 299 without intimation and before the trial ended

    I was trying to create a site using wordpress. But, currently I am not satisfied with it and donot want to proceed with wordpress further. I have been charged USD 299, as I had provided credit card details for the trial.

    This is very unfortunate, as i was not even intimated about this. Please refund the amount immediately and delete my account. I tried a lot last night, but I was not able to find how to delete the page so that I am not charged.

    Also the website mentions that the charges would be levied on the 20th of July. however, today is 19th of July and I have been billed by my credit card company for USD 299. I dont know where to change the settings and disable the upgrade. Please help me with this.

    Hello karnbhugra,

    You can cancel an upgrade and request a refund (if within the refund period) directly from the My Upgrades page.

    Underneath each upgrade on the My Upgrades page you will find a “Cancel” button which when pressed will bring up a dialog box.

    On the dialog box you will be able to confirm if you really want to cancel the upgrade and will be told if you you will be receiving a refund. After confirming that you want to cancel the upgrade you will be sent an email with a cancellation confirmation link, your upgrade will not be cancelled until you visit that link.
