Charges for mapping multiple subdomains

  My nonprofit organization has an existing domain name and I plan to create a subdomain for each department within the organization to use with a blog on WordPress.com. Do I understand correctly that there is a $10 charge for this? If so, does this mean that my organization will need to pay $10 for each blog that uses a subdomain or is there a single charge for an organization regardless of how many subdomains/blogs are used by that organization. For example:

  blog1.mydomain.com = $10
  blog2.mydomain.com = $0
  blog3.mydomain.com = $0
  total cost = $10

  or

  blog1.mydomain.com = $10
  blog2.mydomain.com = $10
  blog3.mydomain.com = $10
  total cost = $30

  It’s the latter. Each blog is separate so domain mapping for each blog is $10.
