Charging audience to read some articles?

  Hi,

  Is there a way to charge for articles on a free wordpress blog?

  I would like to know if it is possible to set up my blog posts so that people can read maybe the first few paragraphs for free, but as they scroll down the page, a pop-up would appear to let them know that the content is not free and that a small fee is required.

  I am also looking into having the freedom to do this with only certain posts, and not all.

  Any thoughts?

  (I am not looking to do this on the blog I currently have. Just considering it. Thanks.)

  May be you can try the self-hosted version of WordPress – https://get.wp.com
  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. More information on the differences can be found here – https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
