Charging my debit card after i cancelled my sibscription
-
I recently cancelled a yearly subscription and was refunded and immediately charged the same amount again. I need that refunded seeing that I am not paying for any services, I do not have a website, nor did I use the rest of wordpress services.

To check what a charge is about, go to https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/. You’ll find on the same page a form to contact the Billing Team.

Hi there,
You were charged for a renewal on 24 July, and cancelled and refunded on the same day. We have not charged you again since then.
The charge you see on your statement is most likely the original charge – credit card transactions often result in two separate entries on your statement: initially there’s a pre-authorization where your bank just places a hold on the funds, and later there’s a second entry when the funds actually get transferred to the business you’re paying.
When you refund a charge so close to the payment as you did in this case, that second entry can often appear on the statement only after the entry for the refund, making it seem as if you’ve been charged a second time, but it’s actually for the same transaction.
Please contact your bank to check if that’s the case here. If they confirm that there is indeed a second charge, let us know and we can ask our billing team to check for that in our system, but I don’t see any new charges on your account.
