  Hello,

  You can remove the Text Widget from your sidebar by following these steps:

  Click on Themes > Customize
  Find Widgets > Sidebar
  Open the Text Widget (down arrow)
  Click on Delete (bottom left corner)
  Hit the Save & Publish button
