Chat options

  I want to build a website where one person can talk directly to another person who has joined. I need to know if you offer a chat option, or if I build my site with Go-daddy if you offer them a chat option that I can add to my site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The only option we have for this is the tlk.io widget. If you embed that on your site people can use it to chat. Note that it’s public-only – no direct message option – and you can’t have multiple rooms like in a forum.

  There is no such option on WordPress.com. For that you’ll need a messaging plugin of some kind, and that can only be used on self-hosted WordPress websites.
