Chateau default colors for "dark" color scheme messed up

Apologies for thread duplication – I originally posted this in the Support forum back when I didn’t know the cause, and someone has flagged it as a CSS issue (but it’s definitely not). Hence the duplicate thread.
The background, heading, accent etc. colors for the “dark” Chateau color scheme have somehow been replaced by the default colors for the “light” scheme (e.g. white for the background (even though it’s actually showing black!), dark red links, dark brown accents, unreadable black active links, unreadably dark archive pages/reader comments). It’s left my site almost unreadable.
I can manually change a couple of those to something a bit more readable using Customize, but I have no control over some other elements.
The default colours need to be set back those for the “dark” colour theme.
Is this just me, or is anyone else having the issue?
