Chateau theme and post type image

  The theme does not display the image for an image post on the front page other than for the latest post.

  It would be logical to show a thumbnail.

  If the image was shown, this would be a great them for photography.

  Chateau only shows thumbnails on custom header images. It looks like you’ve added an image to this post, which shows on the homepage. For now, it is the way to do it.

  Thanks for replying.

  In order to get that thumbnail, the workflow is convoluted and doesn’t give an ideal result (using the excerpt field results in a thumbnail plus “continue reading” next to it).

  This is not something I would want to have to do for every post I make.

  It would seem more logical to recognise that the post is of post type Image, and display a thumbnail automatically.

  I would be grateful if you would consider modifying the theme to do this – it would be much more user friendly.
