Chateau Theme – Custom Header Image Disappears in Firefox
-
Hello folks – I uploaded an image in the Chateau theme custom header.
It appears fine in Safari, but does not appear at all in Firefox v 10.0.1.
I’ve tried gif, png, and jpg files. All are sized exactly to 960 x 260.
Any thoughts on how to get this working? Much appreciated.

I clearly see this header image on your blog http://spookymoonbeam.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/header-cc-image-courtesy-of-mandarx-on-flickr.jpg If you cannot see it that points to a browser issue. Please be sure your browser version is up to date and try clearing your browser cache and cookies.
I put this Chateau theme up on my test blog. To avoid the loss of image quality that occurs when we rely on the cropper, I created an optimized .jpg image offline presized to the exact header dimensions required which are 960 × 260 pixels. I uploaded the header and it displayed with zero problems. I’m using Firefox 10.0.1.

Thank you very much! You’re right – it was fine once I cleared out all the cache, cookies, and history. I really appreciate it. :)
