Chateau Theme Widget Issue?
-
When first setting up my widgets…under “Upper Footer Widget Area” which should be a full-width footer column, I added a “Text” widget. After adding title and body text, it’s publishing the title on the right side and body text on the left — basically backwards or not in order since it is a full-width footer column? Can anybody tell me why it’s doing this and how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Since the site linked to your usename is private, we volunteers can’t see it to figure out what is going on. You will either have to temporarily make it public or if you cannot do that, then let us know and we will flag this for staff attention and hopefully they will drop by sometime soon and look into it for you.

thesacredpath, I have temporarily turned off privacy, though the site is not ready to be viewed. Can you help?

Believe it or not, that’s the way the theme is designed: the title is supposed to show up below the sidebar, so if you use the right-sidebar layout you get this absurd effect. You can leave the title field blank and add the title in the body text, this way:

TITLE HERE

MAIN TEXT HERE
You can change the percentages, to adjust the size of the title and the space between the title and the rest.

Thank you justpi, I appreciate the quick response. I should’ve realized since on his sample, he used the left-sidebar layout. It’s all good now & I hope this helps others in the future.
