  I want to add a Chatroll widget to my WordPress.com free blog.
  What is the procedure?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Currently the only live chat utility we can use on WordPress.com is the tlk.io widget. You can learn more about that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/tlk-io-widget/

  This of course does not prevent you from opening a chat hosted by a off-WPcom, 3rd party site and then linking it from your WordPress.com site. You can do that either in a Text widget or an Image widget.

  Not directly, as I mentioned above. Just provide a link to the off-WPcom chat site either in a widget or in your site’s Navbar using a Custom Menu.
