Chats – newbie needs pro help
-
Hi there!
I just started my account at WordPress.com… I have several works I would like to share with those interested by using my blog…
But what I would REALLY want in that blog is a Facebook chat, like the one we can see in this page: http://super.abril.com.br/blogs/superlistas/7-lendas-urbanas-brasileiras-que-voce-ja-acreditou/?utm_source=redesabril_jovem&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=redesabril_super
However I can’t find it anywhere in the customize options… What should I do? Is it possible for me to include it?
I know nothing about keeping or creating web pages but i’m willing to learn, if that’s needed..
EdS.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot install that into any free hosted WordPress.COM blog. We used to have 4 chat options but we no longer have them. At present there are no chatboxes or forums that can be embedded into free hosted WordPress.com blogs. There is no FTP access and we cannot install plugins.
You have three free workaround forum options: http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/04/23/wordpress-com-forum-options/
One approach is to register a forum on the internet and then create a custom menu in your blog and include a custom link to the forum in it.
a custom link to the forum in it.

Thank you, Timethief!
I noticed you said “any free hosted”… Does that means that if I paid WordPress.com (premium account) I would be able to add them?
-
No. There are no upgrades you can purchase that changes what I said. All upgraded blogs are still free hosted here. We do not pay for hosting.

Oh. That’s sad. So I guess wordpress.com doesn’t serve my purposes, unfortunatly :/
Thank you a lot for your great answers, Timethief!
