  A blogger wants to follow my site and they get this response: Check that the site URL entered is valid. I’ve never had this problem with other followers before. What can I do?

  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Check that you have given them the correct address https://basilikepappablog.wordpress.com/ and I assume you have given them the permissions required to visit your private site.

  Thank you for your response! The problem is, they get this response when they are trying to ask for permission to visit my blog.

  So is that after they have clicked “request access”? Do they have a WordPress.com account?

  They say it happens when they are trying to click on to my site (through the comment section, so they can ask for permission to get in). They have a WordPress.com account.

  Surely if they can see the comment section of your site they are already in?? Have they tried the usual way as described on the front page of your private site?

  They can’t see my comments. It’s me who can see theirs, since they are not private.
  But it’s okay now, I just received their permission request. Perhaps it was some kind of glitch? In any case, thank you very much for your help!
