checking akismet spam

  i hope this does not sound too stupid. one particular friend of mine’s comments are not appearing on my blog. it was okay previously but somehow, recently, his comments don’t appear. i poked around and kinda think it’s got something to do with it being caught as spam.

  i’m trying to find out how you can check your spam to unmark it as spam?

  In your dashboard under comments there’s a section called “Akismet”.

  Have a look in there. If there’s any comments that aren’t spam just mark them as such.

  You have no spam currently in the queue. Must be your lucky day. :)

  but i don’t see anything else.

  There is a known bug in Akismet at the moment. Read the thread at the top of the forum for more info

  yeah i saw that. but it doesn’t say anything about not being able to see your spam comments right? or am i reading something wrong?

  That is exactly what that thread is about. Akismet reports having caught an increasing number of spam comments, but doesn’t display them on the Spam page for you to check. The problem was acknowledged by staff nearly two weeks ago, so I hope a solution is not far off now.
