checking for HTML framing – want to be compliant
-
Hi,
After several weeks of flawless operation, I viewed this blog (englishautousa.wordpress.com) and found that jpg images on the left side of the home page text were “x’ed” out. When I clicked on them, I got error msgs saying “frames not allowed” or something similar. I thought I had screened the HTML for “frame” “frameset” etc. I presume a wordpress bot found something it didn’t like.
I originally did a simple cut and paste from another web site (legally) to establish the page, then edited it several times, FWIW. To fix the x-outs, the images were replaced a few days ago. They are .jpg files sourced to the media directory of this blog. I sure they were before the problem as well. Don’t see any references to frame operators now.
So the question is: if I there are no references to html frame-related operators (using the HTML tab in Edit Page), is the blog compliant with respect to frame issues? Or is there something else I need to do? I’m thinking they may be “hidden because forbidden.” Did not get any notice to remove them, tho.
thanks in advance for helping me be a good wordpress citizen
