Checking JPG vs PNG files
-
Is there a way of checking whether a file is JPG or PNG before an article is uploaded?

Hi,
There are lots of ways to check that. The easiest way might be to point the mouse at the image, right click, and choose an option that allows you to view the image and its URL in isolation. For example, on Firefox you can select “view image,” and on Google Chrome, you can select “Open image in new tab.” The file format will appear at the end of the image address (URL).
Do that for each image in the article.
