checking my API key is in place correctly

    I have my personal login to WP and I have my admin login to WP. It seems that my API key is not ‘connected’ to my blog in some way. How can I check to be sure everything is set up properly? My blog has been up and running for a month and there are no stats on my plugin, but all over Google Analytics and StatCounter. What could be the problem?
