Checking on my own blog
-
I always browse the stats on my blog, but today I was not able to. Instead, I was redirected to a page that says I do not have a blog. Has WordPress changed how we interact with our own blogs?
-
Hi there,
This usually happens when a user is logged in to the wrong account.
Can you post a link to your site so we can point you in the right direction?

Hello, do you mean this? And thank you in advance.

Yes, thank you.
That site belongs to a different user account to the one you’re currently logged in to, which is why you’re seeing a message saying you don’t have a blog.
Please log out of the fuhsingacupuncture753132548 account you’ve used to post comments in this thread, then try logging in with the username fuhsingacupuncture.
If you’re unable to remember the login details for that account, please try following the account recovery steps outlined at the link below.

Hello Gary, I appreciate your help so far, but I have made a new password, logged out of the account (the one with the series of numbers after it) and logged back in, but it always seems I am logged in as “fuhsingacupuncture@gmail889937474 (whatever the numbers are), and I am told that I do not have a blog. How do I get back to my admin page?
-
Are you sure you’re logging in with the username fuhsingacupuncture?
I’ve tagged this thread with modlook to bring it to the attention of a member of staff.
They should be able to check the logs to see what’s happening.
-
I do believe I am logging in that way. And I have never logged in differently before. Thank you for tagging the thread, I hope one of the staff can rescue me.

Hi –
We have to get you signed in to the fuhsingacupuncture user account. That’s the account associated with the site in question here.
Currently, you are signed in to the fuhsingacupuncture753132548 user account and writing to us under that one.
Sign out of WordPress.com and clear your cache and cookies.
Next, sign in to the WordPress.com account using the fuhsingacupuncture username. Reset the password if needed.
That password reset notification will be sent to the address listed at wordpress.com/me/account/ -
Still having trouble! I did as recommended- I logged out of WP, cleard the cache and cookies, tried to log back in as fuhsingacupuncture, ad still have no access to my site. What is my next step? COuld this be because my credit card which is on autopay for my site is expiring? Please advise!!

Hi Steve, when you logged back in, did you try logging in via Google or did you actually type the login and password for fuhsingacupuncture ?
I’m wondering if you logged in via Google and it actually made a separate account for you.
-
Thank you for your question and idea. I logged in with my email and password. Yet when I get in to WP it says I have no site. My site (tampabayacuhealthandspine.com) is actually there, but I do not have any access to it. Ideas??
Thank you.
-
I logged in with my email and password.
Just to clarify – when you’re logging in, please do not use an email address or Google account.
Enterfuhsingacupuncture as your username, not your email address. Then enter the password.
-
Gary, you got it! I always looked at my panel right from my site, so I had not logged in in a couple years actually, so I forgot that I did not need the full email address! I am back in, feeling humbled and grateful to you all.
Steve
