Checking that an email I received from you is legitimate

    I received an email informing me that my blog domain name was about to expire. Before I renew or upgrade to premium, I want to check that this email is legitimate, Could you confirm that it is? Thanks.

    The blog you username is linked to is not on a domain. It’s on a WordPress.com subdomain.

    If you are referring to a domain mapping upgrade you purchased through WordPress.COM for another free hosted WordPress.COM blog Go here and check for yourself please > Store > My Upgrades

    Note we are sent several warning notices of impending expiration and yet people still allow their domains to expire. If we set up auto-renew then we lose no time we paid for but the renewal is commenced a month early. That way if anything goes sideways we do not lose the domain.
