Checkout error

I’m trying to upgrade my plan since I got emailed a discount code for today wand want to take advantage of it. However every time I try to go to checkout I am presented with an error page that says ‘We’re sorry, but an unexpected error has occurred’.
I’ve had this issue several times in the past too when trying to buy an upgrade plan. All I want to do is remove the often inappropriate and intrusive ads from my blog.

If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these two things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.
