Checkout says we owe money

    Site frozen says money owed in checkout . but it is a free plan I have not purchased anything ,please help 80 year old trying to run community site for a club had it for years for free now this.

    We don’t charge you for anything unless you decide to make a purchase. Many features – like using a custom domain or custom design – require a paid plan to access, but they’re not mandatory.

    If you had something in your shopping cart and was prompted to “complete the purchase” – it’s likely because you clicked one of our upgrade notices which would have added a paid plan to your shopping cart. Again, you are under no obligation to complete that purchase – you can continue to use your free WordPress.com site as you have been.

    Pulling up your account, I’m showing that you don’t have any upgrades pending in your cart, so it sounds like you were able to remove that on your own?
