chess diagrams
-
I am trying to put chess diagrams in my blog. For example, my recent post, Two Great Games from the American Open, should have diagrams, but I don’t know how to do that. I can generate diagrams in Chessbase, insert them into Word (I tried this) but when I cut and pasted into the blog, the diagrams would not show up. Does anyone know how to put chess diagrams in? Please note I am a novice on the technical side.

The images in WORD docs will not show because they’re not on servers somewhere on the internet.
Please see http://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/ and http://en.support.wordpress.com/uploading-documents/
If you want to embed the document itself into a post or a page, you will have to use a third party application like Scribd or Google Docs. Otherwise, the documents will appear as a download link.

Thanks for the responses, it seems very daunting but I will try it! On another front, if you look at my blog you will see the picture goes off the screen (woman with dog in I don’t know if this will work). Is there a way to resize the picture? I went to edit picture but couldn’t find a way to do this. Yes, I really am a newbie here!
