Chess Game Viewer

    Hi All,

    It appears that there have been several requests for the ability to embed chess games in our blogs. It also appears that there is a WordPress plug-in that would enable this functionality (https://wordpress.org/plugins/embed-chessboard/).

    Web based game viewers allow the reader to step through a chess game one ply (half-move) at a time. They can go through at their own pace and stop at any point to think about a position. Web authors would might use this range from GM’s to post analysis of professional tournaments, to teachers who want to give an example of how to perform tactics or strategy, to players who want to boast about games that they’ve won, lost or played against GMs.

    Having this functionality would make several of us happy, but also has the potential to convince chess professionals to migrate their blogs to wordpress.com.

    Given that this is desired by several users and could lead to more users signing up, would it be possible to add this plugin to the list of supported plugins (http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/).
