Child Categories
-
I’m having a hard time getting Child Categories to display. I’ve added a new Category to sidebar, but when I added two Child Categories to that, they aren’t showing up as drop-downs from Parent Category… they’re showing up in alpha order in sidebar like a new Parent Category. I’ve double-checked my settings to make sure I designated the hierarchy and I’ve read everything I can find in the tutorials regarding the issue; haven’t found the answer.
Can you help me get the Child Categories displayed as drop-down from Parent Category?
Thanks for any help you can offer!!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We assin Categories to posts (not pages) and we can display access to them either by placing a Categories widget in our sidebar or by createing a custom menu. The latter is the preferred method as it will result in a drop-down menu from the top navigation bar in any theme we use as some themes do not natively provide dropdown menus.

OK, that helps a lot!! I wasn’t sure if Custom Menu was something I needed to consider to resolve this. I’ll try it out.
