Child Categories

    Hello, I’m trying to make a category that allows child categories. I want to add the Display-Categories-Wiget to my site. I need to go to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory to upload the display-categories-widget folder. How do I do that?

    Is there a simpler way for me to get child categories? Eg.: Date as one category with subcategories under the year.: 2015 > Zambia Cycle Expedition

    You can’t add plugins to a WordPress.com site.

    Is there a simpler way for me to get child categories?

    Yes. The Categories support page describes how to add sub-categories either at the Categories Module (of My Sites) or at the WP Admin categories page.

    With a Categories Widget you may display the categories with hierarchy (parent-child relationships) included as described in the Configuration section of the Categories Widget support page.
