Child Categories disappeared

  Hi,

  my blog is http://ummerum.wordpress.com/. I just added the new “Titan” theme. I then added a new category and made it “Category Parent” to a lot of my existing categories. I then decided that I didn’t like the name I chose for the Category, so I “Quick Edited” the name.

  That’s when the Child categories disappeared from /wp-admin/categories.php. They are still present on the posts, just not visible in the admin screen.

  Can you bring them back without removing them from my posts?

  OK, I thought I had already tried this… I deleted the Parent and lo, the now Parent-less Children reappeared.
