Child Page Grid Text
-
Hi there!
I posted last week about getting text added below the title on the child page grid at the bottom of my home page. I was given this code:
.post-133 .entry-title {
color: #2b2c36;
font-weight: 600;
}.post-137 .entry-title {
color: #2b2c36;
}.post-135 .entry-title {
color: #2b2c36;
}.post-133 .entry-title:after {
content: “Acquire Capital can identify sound investment solutions that will help you build, preserve and transfer wealth”;
display: block;
color: #c0c0c0;
font-size:20px;
font-weight: 500;
}And it worked! However, when I try to edit the font on the grid or on the page that it is linked to (investments) it affects the the other page. Does anybody know how I can separate the two? This is important so the text is legible as the background on one is white on one and dark on the other.
I’m having the same problem with the titles as well.
Any help is great, thanks!

Hi there –
You could try adding this code:
/* Landing page text after page title */
.post-2 .entry-title::after {
content: ” Brad Rice and the Associates at Acquire Capital find financial solutions tailored to fit your unique needs and goals. We know that putting your trust in our team is your choice – and our goal is to help you make the best well-informed choices for your needs.”;
color: #2b2c36;
}
/* Home Page Title */
.home #page-header .entry-title {
color: #2b2c36;
}
which should affect just the text on the landing page.Let us know if this helps!
Best,
-Cat

Thanks for the help, but maybe I explained wrong :(
Its not the title on the home page but on the links on the bottom with the 3 big pictures… when you mouse over it it highlights it and is showing text but when I change that text it changes the title on the “Investments” page

Hi @acquirecapital, I think I understand. Try this code instead:
.home .post-133 .entry-title { color: #2b2c36; font-weight: 600; } .home .post-137 .entry-title { color: #2b2c36; } .home .post-135 .entry-title { color: #2b2c36; } .home .post-133 .entry-title:after { content: "Acquire Capital can identify sound investment solutions that will help you build, preserve and transfer wealth"; display: block; color: #c0c0c0; font-size:20px; font-weight: 500; }Adding .home will make it so it only affects those on the home page.
