Child page not showing in menu bar
-
I decided to make my blog more complete mimicking some of my old site. I am currently using the Baskersville 2 theme… My blog is about tourism/travel. In the top menu bar there is the main menu:
Home Services About Provinces Panama Canal History
The Provinces page has general info about the provinces. The idea is that I would create child pages, one for each province. At the moment I have just one “Los Santos” which I have also linked in the Provinces page. However, the Los Santos page I have marked as Child Page and shows as that in the list of pages in the dashboard. However, the “Provinces” menu item on the main menu bar is not showing the drop-down with its child pages. If you look at the Baskersville 2 theme, you can see that the theme does support that. Why is it not happening in my site?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi! The menu doesn’t automatically generate drop downs, but you can create them yourself if you’d like!
Will you be listing several posts about Los Santos as a category, or will it be a static page?
I’d decide one way or the other, then set up your custom menu to link to that. Here’s http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
And if you’re wanting those pages to display several posts, I’d recommend this:

Thanks Supernovia! that was exactly what I wanted to do. You can see it in action at:

The Provinces menu item now shows the general Provinces page if I click on it, or the selected province (only one at the moment) can also be selected.
