child pages not appearing under parent page

    Hi, I have been trying to re-organize my research page under three categories. I want each category to be displayed with some sort of icon and visitors can click on each to see the linked page but remain under the research (parent) page. I assume this is done by creating child pages, which I did. But I can’t seem to see them under the parent page. I tried using some of the plug-ins I read about (insert pages, page-list etc.) but activating them did not get me too far so I deactivated them. I don’t know how to write codes. I appreciate your help. Thanks much.

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.
