child pages not showing up under parent.
-
Hey there,
I’m running into a weird problem where pages that I set as children aren’t showing up under their parent. If you go to : http://www.wphypnotiza.hypnotiza.com, you’ll see that on the far right column there is a Pages area, and if you click on the Links Parent it will take you to the Links page with it’s description, but none of the children show up: Tools & Resources, Design Art Graphics.
So is there some setting I’m missing? Is it a theme thing?

Your link isn’t working, but I don’t think you have a WordPress.COM blog. You probably want http://wordpress.org/support/

child pages don’t show up under the parent pages
you need to use the page widget. Or use a text widget
& manually link to those pages. -
@hypnotiza
Also by linking your name to your blog it will serve the purposes…
If you need to ask a support question in the forum then it will make it easier for the volunteers to see what blogging platform your using & will aide them in giving you a more accurate answer to your question.

I think there is a real possibility that in spite of the “Proudly powered by WordPress” with the link showing WordPress.com in the footer, my WordPress.COM Admin Bar is conspicuously absent when I’m viewing that blog and the whois doesn’t point here.
In other words, it looks like DesignDisease goofed with the URI in their theme’s footer. As such support for this theme should be over at ORG.

Thanks for the tip, but there is no dropdown for the change the primary blog field. So…
Bloggin platform: wordpress
Anyways back to my original question. I used the page widget and the child pages show up in the sidebar. However, if click on (in my case Links) the child pages don’t show up in the Links page. In a previous site I built using WP whenever I added a child page to a parent the child showed up as part of a bulleted list in the parent page. Example: http://insidepassages.com/?page_id=43.
The galleries page has a bunch of sub galleries by various photographers. I didn’t write any extra code to include that list of links to child pages. If I write child or parent anymore my hands will fall off…
Thanks,

That’s super awesome. Maybe my install is hosed, when I switch to another theme I still don’t see child pages when I click on the parent page.
Good times! -
hypnotiza – you are not hosted here at wordpress.COM so our answers don’t apply to you. You need to be over at http://wordpress.ORG/support and take a look at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1 for the differences.

Someone above the salt might want to let Design Disease know about the gaff… just sayin’…

I’ve exhausted the FAQ’s searched the forum and still don’t have an answer as to why my child pages aren’t showing up under the parent. Help would be greatly appreciated.
