Child theme help

    Hi. I’ve installed a child theme and i know which changes i want to make in my cpanel file manager, but after I do that how do i put them in the child theme? Or, how do i make the same changes in the child theme editor? I can’t find the code in the editor, whereas i know where it is in the cpanel.

    Hi,

    Given that you are using cPanel I believe you are using the Open Source version of WordPress (WordPress.org). This forum is for WordPress.com users. Try posting this in their forums as you’ll be able to get better assistance there. The link is below

    With that being said, the code editor for WordPress.org versions are located under the Appearance tab on your dashboard, and then Code Editor. However, I’m not sure the child theme files will be available there without first installing and activating it within WordPress. Again, you’ll get better assistance at their forums.
