Child theme – which CSS is used?
-
I have Astra with Astra Pro and I have created a child theme from it. Which CSS does the child theme use, from the parent or its own? In otherwords, would I make my CSS edits in the parent theme or the child theme? TIA

Hi! A child theme will typically use both its CSS and its parents CSS, overriding as needed. Astra isn’t one of the themes we typically provide support for, so I’d check in with them to confirm, but normally this is the way both CSS and child themes are designed to work. CSS “cascades” and child themes inherit and override.

They’ll generally be faster than our free support forums.
