Child van Dalston

  With Dalston I built https://margotschaap.nl/margot-nieuwe-home/

  Now I want to create a Child.
  I did that many times before, but now it doesn’t work with the following settings:
  Theme Name: child-margotschaap-dalston
  Description: Dalston Child Theme
  Author: Margot Schaap
  Author URI: https://www.margotschaap.nl/
  Template: dalston-wpcom
  Text Domain: child-margotschaap-dalston

  Could the problem be that you cannot turn a Child into a Child?

  Hello Giel!

  A child theme of a child theme would otherwise be known as a grandchild theme. It doesn’t work. Depending upon the requirements and the preference of the developer, sometimes it’s possible to write a custom plugin for the child theme instead.
