Child/Parent Pages, Posts, and breadcrumbs
-
I’m working on my wife’s blog at the moment here.
I’m trying to organize how the hierarchy works in wordpress for the result I’m looking for.
Currently, the breadcrumb above the article goes: Home > Article name “Website Under Construction
I want my posts to go something like this: “Essentially Lynne” (NOT “Home”) > Blog > (Blog_Category) > (Blog_Title)
It is my current understanding that to achieve this that I need to make every page a child of the next, however I cannot make posts children of my blog/blog categories? This seems strange to me.
I’m just wondering what magic combination of slugs, tags, categories, child pages, parent pages, posts or the lack thereof I need to execute in which order to get the result I’m looking for.
