Chiusura vecchio account, cosa succede al nuovo?

Questo account era stato aperto tempo fa’, ma mai utilizzato.
Ora ho acquistato un nuovo dominio con Siteground e nel collegare wordpress faccio fatica a farmi riconoscere, perché wordpress associa la mia email a questo vecchio account e non al nuovo.
Ho pensato di chiudere definitivamente questo vecchio account, ma poi cosa accade al nuovo, a cui è associata la stessa email?Site: https://nonscordartilacca.wordpress.com.

This account was opened some time ago, but never used.
Now I have purchased a new domain with Siteground and in connecting wordpress I struggle to be recognized, because wordpress associates my email with this old account and not with the new one.
I thought about permanently closing this old account, but then what happens to the new one, to which the same email is associated?An account here at Siteground, would be separate to a site here at WordPress.com.
Can you tell me the domain you’re trying to use with Siteground please?
I suspect they may be some confusion happening here.

To clarify, are you trying to connect your site pennealweb.it to a WordPress.com account? As @aleon89 mentioned, your Siteground and WordPress.com are separate, so there shouldn’t be any issues with your email that is connected to your old account interfering with your Siteground account.
Do you have two WordPress.com accounts? If you have a new account and you want to use the email from your old account for the new account, that could cause a conflict (since you can only use your email for one WordPress.com account). Just need clarification on what you are trying to set up.
