choice of font and colors for text

  at one time I was able to chose font and color for text. now i have something else in that space that only gives strange looking characters. I am new at blogging, as you can tell. I have tried everything on my dashboard to getsome info but have not been able to change the setting.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you are using the Visual Editor, make sure the “Kitchen Sink” button is pushed, which opens another row of editing options, such as color. Don’t think you can choose a different font though other than “Bold” “Italic” and the like.
