Choice of theme for business
-
I am starting a business blog that I want to resemble this site that has one long advertising page, with buttons leading to a payment page.
Similar to this:https://secure.perfectweightforever.com/perfect-weight-forever
So many themes, and I’d rather not figure it out solely by trial and error. And I want to make sure it is mobile friendly.
Are there themes that would facilitate this? I want to avoid themes that won’t allow it.

Below is why I am asking that question.
We provide support only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs. We do not provide support for wordpress.ORG software installs and our themes here https://wordpress.com/themes/ cannot be used on WordPress.ORG software installs. In fact the only themes we can use on wordpress.Com hosted blogs are at that link and the site with theme filters is found here https://theme.wordpress.com/
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

And I want to make sure it is mobile friendly.
Mobile friendly is the default for all themes here. The gold standard is responsive layout themes. https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/responsive-layout/
A responsive layout theme adapts to different screen sizes so that your website will work (and be optimized for) iPhones, iPads, Android and other mobile devices. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.
When we use a responsive theme we disable the mobile theme. Go to > Appearance > Mobile and disable the mobile theme
You can read more in the support docs at https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/mobile-themes/
You can test your site at this link https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/
Lastly, there are advertising restrictions here at wordpress.COM. We cannot post third party advertising. The only advertising program here which is WordAds and what is required is that the blog is on its own domain and has enough traffic to be accepted into that program.

It’s a product I sell, and the advertising page would include my story, and that of friends and family members who have used the product. After reading the wordpress article The $64,000 question which discusses .com vs. .org, I had previously decided that .com would be appropriate.

Singl and Harmonic are two good choices for single-page themes.

If you’d like more control over the design, upgrading to the Premium or Business plan would allow you to add custom CSS to tweak the look and feel to your liking.
