“Choose file to upload” prompt does not appear to click

  Never had this problem until four days ago. I closed other windows, cleaned out the cache. Still I haven’t been able to upload any type files to my blog. WordPress help info says there is a connection problem, but I can’t figure out what to do.

  Same here. It doesnt say anything…. just doesn’t click. Tried it on different browsers too.

  With no help from anyone, I decided to see if there is an alternative to uploading a photo since the “click to upload” box doesn’t work.

  Click “browse”, find the file or photo you want to upload to your blog, click “open” and then click “upload” in the wordpress box. The file name will appear in the blank box where “click file to Upload” used to appear. It’s a few more steps, but at least it works.

  jantango – it is really hard to help you without a link to your blog, as we don’t know if you are even in the proper forum. Please consider linking your user name to your blog as explained in the sticky at the top of the forum:

  Go into your dashboard -> users -> your profile -> then scroll down to ‘contact info’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
  Now… when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog. If you do this before you post your request for help, it will allow forum volunteers to be able to help you quicker since they won’t have to ask you for a link and wait until you come back to post one.
