choose images uploader for gallery slideshow sidebar widget not working

  i was able to add this sidebar, but when customizing the pictures i want to run on a slideshow, the “choose images” button isn’t working. nothing happens when i click it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes! Avoid the Customizer and add the Gallery widget from Dashboard>Appearance>Widgets>Gallery Widget. You should be able to then add the images regardless of what type of Gallery you want (slideshow or thumbnail images).
