choose wrong setup for my page

  Hello,
  I wanted to start a website, not a blog post site. Is there any way to change it or do I have to start a new account? Thank you so much! Vanessa

  If you really like the theme you’re using right now, but it uses blog posts as the default for its homepage, you could always set the homepage to a static page.

  Otherwise, have you explored other themes? Some are better for bloggers, some are better for showcasing photography, and some are better for creating more traditional websites.

  You can get to themes once you’ve logged into your account by going to My Sites -> Themes. On that page, you can preview hundreds of themes. I’m not sure what your website will be about, but free themes like Motif, Sela or Stay might work well for you.
