Choosing a plan

    I signed up for the free plan, but when I got to summary information, I was signed up for the personal plan, and no free plan was offered. Also, I did not realize that my email address would appear below the title. I had planned to put a subtitle there.

    There might have been a mix-up when you signed up for your WordPress account. You can verify if you have made any purchase on this link:
    http://wordpress.com/purchases

    You can also cancel your purchased plan from that page if you wish to do so. Let us know if you need further help.

    Hi there,

    If you feel, you have bought the paid Personal plan by mistake, then you have the option for a refund (if you claim the refund within 30 days from the day of purchase)

    Regarding the subtitle, it is fairly simple to set it using the Customizer available in your theme. Check this official support link on how to set website Title and Subtitle.
