Choosing a plan/payment

  Will the monthly fees charged according to selected plan be billed monthly as long as the website is up and running? Or just while the site is being built?
  For what length of time should a client be expected to be required to make these payments?

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com does not offer any month-to-month billing plans, only annual payment options. Please see this post for details.

  The annual pricing is broken down as a monthly price on the upgrade page for informational purposes, but all payments are made on an annual basis.

  Personally, I have required my web design clients to enter their billing information on the account I create for them to manage their site.
