Hi, what happens if I choose and buy a template but then find it doesn’t do what I wanted it to? Is there anywhere I can see what other business like mine have chosen as their template?

Yes, you can check the theme in use on any site. It’s not super intuitive but I can walk you through the steps — Or if you’d rather tell me the URL of a site you like I can see what theme it uses.
Note that on WordPress.com you’ll choose your theme from https://wordpress.com/themes/ unless you have our business plan in which case you can upload any custom or third party theme to the site.
