Choosing a Suitable WordPress Account

    Hello,

Please may you assist; I am starting a small business travel company and would like to set up my website on WordPress.

Currently, we have a website which is hosted through Weebly. We have heard great things about the functionality etc of WordPress and so we would like to move our website on to you. Do you know anything about the process and will it be straightforward enough to do?

Furthermore, we are trying to assess the best plan to go for. Naturally, the variety of plug-ins and themes on the Business Plan make this appear the best option and with this being a travel booking site we do wish to offer lots of functionality to online customers.

However, clearly without simply paying for the best one I was curious to know if you could explain whether this plan is better and necessary in the first instance i.e. whether it is worth starting on a smaller plan and upgrading to the Business Plan in time.

Essentially this is the final question; although £20 a month does not seem too expensive as we are a small start-up business for now may I ask is there no other payment plan for this; i.e. can this be paid monthly rather than the full 12 x £20 upfront, which is quite a big payment for us today. Or, do you have any other options for payment on this plan? Do you still have to pay the full amount if on a 30 day trial, for instance?

Thank you in advance of your assistance and your feedback will be hugely appreciated.

    Regards,
    David

    Hi pedalandbreak

    – If you want to use the third party plugins and themes then you have to be on the business plan of WordPress.

As your site is related to the online booking, If you will be in the business plan you can also use the WooCommerce plugin for making your store. Here is the support document for that:

    Hi David,

I see @shubhamgmath has already provided you with quite a bit of information.

Do you still have to pay the full amount if on a 30 day trial, for instance?

We don’t offer trial versions of our plans but you can request a refund within 30 days of purchase if things don’t work out for any reason:

    Refund a Purchase

It’s worth noting domains can only be refunded if they are cancelled within 48 hours of registration — otherwise the domain cost will be deducted from your plan refund.

I’m happy to answer any questions you have.
